Portrait of Thomas Joseph Pettigrew (1791–1865) https://wellcomeimages.org/indexplus/image/M0000726.html   In the year 1822, the Rosetta Stone was translated by Jean-François Champollion, who was an instructor at the Grenoble Academy (Moshenka 8).  The Rosetta Stone is a piece of stone which has three translations inscribed on it.
